The company was originally started in 1982 by Dewey Trail, and is now run by 4th generation owner and grandson, James Trail Davis. Employees at DT Contracting have been with the company for over 10 years. Having seen the company grow and adapt over the years, often contributing to its success by embracing new challenges, they are more than just seasoned professionals; they are family.

Growing up, I learned from him the importance of building relationships with customers, not just completing jobs. Today, as the owner, I carry on that legacy. I focus on providing top-notch painting and roofing services while meeting new people and making sure every customer is satisfied. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a happy customer and knowing that we’ve made their home better. We stand behind the quality of our work and the materials we use. That’s why we offer a warranty on labor and materials following the completion of the project. It’s important to note that this warranty does not extend to incidental damage caused by accident or abuse, normal wear and tear, temperature changes (such as hail, wind, snow, or moisture), or cracks caused by expansion. Nevertheless, we are committed to making sure you are satisfied with the work we provide and will always do our best to address any issues that may arise.
